Jan 4th, 2022 - Summary of Changes to Isolation and Quarantine Guidelines

On Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 The Massachusetts Department of Public Health voted to adopt revised guidelines for Covid 19 isolation and quarantine based on new recommendations from the CDC. On December 30, 2021 the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education released updated protocols for Massachusetts Public Schools based on these revised guidelines. This document serves to highlight and explain the key changes to Covid protocols. Please note that districts are mandated to adhere to the guidelines published by DPH and DESE and do not have the authority to alter or reduce isolation and quarantine requirements.
