• Kindergarten at the H. Olive Day School is a tuition free, full day program. In a typical school year, the program  meets Monday through Friday from 8:45 am - 3:00 pm (the same school day as grades one and two)
   
• To be eligible for the 2025-2026 Kindergarten Program, your child must be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2025.
   

• Parents/guardians will be required to provide proof of residence and a certified copy of their child’s birth certificate to the H. Olive Day School
   

• Currently, enrolled H. Olive Day School Pre-K students who are eligible for kindergarten must register.
   
• In the 2024-2025 school year, there are currently 7 kindergarten classes.The current enrollment in kindergarten is 136. At this time, the number of classes for next year is uncertain; it will depend upon the enrollment and the school budget. In order to help us plan effectively, please register by February 19, 2025. Online registration takes only a few minutes – see link below.
   
• Specific Information about our Kindergarten Program will be offered at our Kindergarten Information Night. This program is for parents only. Our new kindergarten students who attend the Norfolk Cooperative Preschool will visit our school with their preschool class. Parents of all other incoming kindergarten students will be contacted with a specific date for a visit.   You will be notified via email with more details about both events.
