Dear Parents/Guardians,

I cannot believe that summer is already here! Where did the school year go?

As you should be aware, XtraMath is a school wide math initiative and also our summer math program. By now, all of your children have been signed up, given an access code, and used the site. Studies show that math fluency is extremely important in the mathematical success of your child. Therefore, it is our expectation that your child will use this program to work on mastery of number facts at least four days a week.  You will have access to your child’s account to monitor progress, as next year’s teacher will.

Please e-mail me (whitmore@norfolk.k12.ma.us) if you encounter any difficulties or have any concerns regarding the XtraMath program. Please also my other posts for Fun Math Web Sites and Fun Math Books for  you and your children to visit.
