Please Return Books to Library by May 18th

The end of the school year is fast approaching!  All school library books must be returned by Friday, May 18, unless it is a book being used for a class project.  All student school library accounts must be cleared by the end of the year to receive final report cards. Students will soon be filling out summer reading plans in the library. Spring Cleaning Your Books: Got Books

Spring cleaning? Got Books? Please use the Got Books? donation bin located behind the school. This eco-friendly fundraiser keeps books out of the trash while helping raise funds for our entire school community by supporting the school library. Got Books? accepts: hardcovers, paperbacks, CDs, DVDs, audio books, records and textbooks. They do not accept VHS tapes, magazines, newspapers, and encyclopedias. Thank you for your support.

Spring Scholastic Book Fair & Students Read to Vote

The spring Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the school library March 5-9. All classes will attend the book fair during their scheduled library time. The Library - A Great Source for Project Research

Many school projects are utilizing school library resources. The biography section is very popular these days! Some students in third grade are reading high interest biographies. All fifth graders are gearing up for the American History Hall of Fame. Students are searching for biographies and additional resources for their Hall of Fame nominee. Using the SAILS Network

Grade 3 students are so happy to be using the SAILS network on the computers in the library.  All classes have learned to search for and find books in our school library using the e-catalog.  The anxiously awaited ability to place holds for books in other libraries in the SAILS network is next!
