Santa Foundation

November Physical Education

Physical Education classes will continue to go outside during the month of November, whenever the weather is reasonably warm and the fields are dry. Students will participate in Capture the Flag and Hawks and Squirrels, two very active and challenging games. November Music

Grade 3 students are learning to read music notation and learning to play new notes on their recorders. They will be playing their first song on their recorders this month! Grade 4 students will be studying the four families of the instruments of the symphony orchestra (strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion). November Art

As the art program moves into November, student art projects for each grade level will support the curriculum content areas within the classroom. During the next few months, sixth grade students will be creating a Latin American Folk Art Print, which is based on Mexican serapes and images from Latin American Folk Art. Dear Parents/Guardians & Students, The end of October has brought excitement and snow to many families throughout New England. We have set new records for the amount of snow fallen in October.
