For the past year, teachers and administrators have been studying the Massachusetts State Frameworks and the Common Core, a set of national standards for teaching and learning that will form the basis of state testing for the foreseeable future. They have worked together to distill those complex standards into a document we call the Norfolk Public Schools Learning Expectations.
